4.5 inch surrounds sit between our 4 inch and 5 inch ranges and fit midrange and small full-range drivers used in compact hi-fi speakers and some car door units, with an outer diameter around 115mm and an inner diameter close to 75mm on the drivers we most commonly see at this size. We stock foam surrounds here, giving the flexible, light-mass rebound that these smaller cones need for accurate midrange performance, and you can buy the surround alone if you're confident fitting it yourself or as part of a full repair kit with two surrounds, T7000 glue, a brush and instructions.

Because 4.5 inch and 5 inch drivers can look similar at a glance, measure carefully: take the outer diameter from the basket's outer edge, not the cone, and the inner diameter at the cone's paper edge, before choosing between the two size categories.
