3.5 inch surrounds are our smallest size, designed for compact full-range drivers, small satellite speakers and some car door tweeters/midranges, with outer diameters usually between about 84mm and 89mm and inner diameters around 54mm to 62mm. Foam and rubber are both available at this size; foam is the lighter, more common choice for small vintage drivers, while rubber gives a firmer edge where the original design called for it. As with our larger sizes, you can order a surround only if you're replacing just the ring yourself, or a full repair kit with two surrounds, T7000 glue, a brush and instructions for both speakers in a pair.

Small drivers are easy to mismeasure, so use calipers if you can, take the outer diameter from the basket's outer edge rather than the cone, and measure inner diameter at the cone's edge.
