Velodyne built some of the most respected powered subwoofers on the market from the 1980s onward, and models like the F-1000B and the VA-12BVX10 remain in active use in home cinema and hi-fi systems today. Subwoofer surrounds work harder than those on regular speakers, moving further and more often to reproduce deep bass, which means the foam tends to wear out and split even on a well-built driver like a Velodyne.

We stock Velodyne repair kits across the sizes used in these models, from 8" up to 15", each cut to the correct outer and inner diameter so the cone reseals properly and the sub can move the air it was designed to. Every kit includes two surrounds, T7000 adhesive, a brush and full instructions, a fraction of the cost of a replacement driver or a new sub.
