Snell Acoustics earned a strong reputation among audiophiles for accurate, well-engineered loudspeakers, and models like the Type A/AIIIi and the Vifa-driver 8" units remain sought-after for their sound quality decades after production. Like most speakers of this vintage, the foam surround around the woofer cone is the weak point - it hardens and cracks with age regardless of how carefully the speaker has been stored, leading to buzzing, rattling or a noticeable loss of bass.

We stock Snell repair kits across the common sizes used in these models, from 8" up to 12", each cut to the correct outer and inner diameter for a proper factory-style fit. Every kit includes two surrounds, T7000 adhesive, a brush and full instructions, so a treasured pair of Snells can be brought back to their original performance.
