Onkyo speakers from the 1980s and 90s — models like the S-55/S-58, D700F/Monitor 500, D200 II/D202A II/D-602, D77/AVS35/AVS92 and the D-3/W-2543A series — were built with solid drivers that still perform well today, but the foam surrounds sealing the woofer cone haven't aged as gracefully. Once foam perishes it cracks, flakes, or tears away completely, which lets the cone move off-axis and causes buzzing, distortion or a complete loss of low end.

We stock Onkyo-specific repair kits across the full range of sizes these models use, from 6.5" up through 15", each cut to the correct outer and inner diameter for a proper factory-style refit. Every kit includes two surrounds, T7000 adhesive, an applicator brush and instructions, so you can restore a pair of speakers in an evening rather than sourcing a replacement driver.
