DLK speakers, best known for compact hi-fi and subwoofer designs from the 1990s, used foam surrounds that have long since reached the end of their working life. The DLK 1 1/2 and similar 8" drivers commonly show cracked, crumbling foam that no longer supports the cone properly, leading to a loose, farty bass response or a complete loss of low-end output. Our foam repair kit is sized to match the 8" driver used in these models, replacing the OD/ID of the original foam surround exactly.

The kit includes two surrounds, T7000 adhesive, an application brush and step-by-step fitting instructions, enough to refoam a matched pair of speakers or a stereo sub setup. It's a simple, affordable repair that avoids the cost and hassle of tracking down a replacement driver for an older DLK unit.
