Acoustic Research (AR) speakers from the 1970s and 80s are some of the most common vintage drivers we're asked to repair, and dry, cracked foam surrounds are almost universal on models like the AR 18s, AR6, AR 18Bxi, AR 14, AR5, AR38s and the AR M4 and 8Bxi series. We stock model-matched foam repair kits covering the 6.5", 8" and 10" woofers used across these ranges, each with two surrounds, T7000 adhesive, a brush and full fitting instructions so you can bring a pair back to original spec in an afternoon.

AR reused basket designs across several model names over the decades, so always check the outer and inner diameter of your driver against the listing rather than relying on the model number alone, since two AR speakers with different names can share the same replacement surround.
